Riding your mount

Your bonuses are supposed to change depending on what class you have (armor check penalties, using a lance one-handed, etc..)

I know it's a late response but what you're looking for is under Conditions.
You would check Mounted, and most likely "On Higher Ground" as well, assuming something like the standard Medium/Horse combination.
