Assuming I once again haven't missed how to do this,

Would it be possible for the Filter window to have its fields sorted in the
same order as the screen display please? I have Release and Type as 2 of
the leftmost fields, yet have to scroll down to find them in the Filter...

It would also be really handy to have the Styles selection as buttons on
the screen, rather than in a menu (where it's tedious to switch between
Foil and Standard displays)

R.

You haven't missed these items...

The filter groups are sorted alphabetically so that the user always knows
where to find them in the list. If they move around based on the View, then
they will appear to be in random locations to most users and that will
simply be confusing.

Starting with the upcoming V1.2 release, you'll be able to save named
filters and views. This should make it easy to save common settings and
quickly switch back and forth. In addition, you'll be able to define a
"default" filter that will always remain whenever you click the Reset button.

These ought to go a long way towards simplifying things.

The style options dynamically change from one game system to another. Some
games have no special styles, while other games have multiple styles.
Consequently, there is no way to translate those to buttons in a consistent
fashion across games. There is also the issue of screen real estate to
consider.

If you switch between the same settings all the time, the new named filters
ought to be a good solution for this.

Hope this helps,
Rob
