Removing extra sidekicks

I'm trying to make Doc Otaku in HL and he has the feat Sidekick 29 with progression 2, and HL puts 5 different sidekicks, whereas Doc only has 3, and they're all identical. Is there a way to get rid of any of the sidekick entries while still keeping the cost the same?
 
There isn't, but I've just thought about it a little and I think I can handle it reasonably easily. I'll try to get this into the next update.
