The Kickstarter mentions a manual. Given how "complicated" this software is (i.e., how many features it has, etc.), I think the manual is going to be necessary.

So how goes the development of the manual?
 
And don't forget that there are going to be plenty of folks here and other places who've been using RW for a while who can help you out with questions or to provide advice.

It's how a lot of us have learned it.
