Realm Works - GM Discussion About Player View

I had a number of players start using the Player Version of Realm Works this week. It was an education experience. Having always used Realm Works just for myself I never cared about the impact I was having on the Player View.

This video covers my main finding.

Does anyone have any tips for better use of the Player Versions?

Realm Works - GM Discussion About Player View

Food for thought. I am now a bit concerned, though my players have made little noise about wanting to see the story stuff. They do like the revealed knowledge of the monsters they've faced, but story-wise they tend to be... "Wait, when did that happen?" happily stunned murder hobos. Like pulling teeth to get one of them to say more than "full round power attack". Sometimes the work feels wasted.

I have 2 parties totaling 9 different players playing in my campaign world. Of those 2 seem to pay any real attention to the lore. The rest vary but seem to mostly remember the details of the recent adventures and some more major NPC's and that's about it.

Most of them are Mac users so they don't have player editions to view my realm away from the game table. I'm holding out hope that the web version and player journals will increase player engagement with my world.
