I'm trying to create a new fey monster in Hero Lab and I'm having an issue. When I create the new hero, I select "Bestiary Monster Creation" and I set the type to fey and go through and complete all the fields in the top part of the background tab.
Before I do anything else, the special qualities section has "Mythic Power" as a special attack and the validation says "Racial Custom Abilities: Resource Overspent 1 of 0." I have Mythic adventures and Ultimate Campaign turned off. The custom ability is just there as a default and I can't delete it. The class tab validates, showing 1-18 levels of the custom creation, but the name (entered in the background tab) is in red.
If add an spell-like abilities, or add anything else, that overspend goes up. In this case, I get it up to 5 of 0 by adding an evasion defense, damage reduction, 2 special qualities (the mythic power makes 5). The race is highlighted in red. Besides needing to "memorize more racial spells", that is the only validation error.
I actually don't even need the racial spells, but there's no option to turn that off either.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
