Questions Starting Out

I recently purchased the character builder and I was wondering a couple things here and there.

1. Is there a simple way to imput how much money a character has?

So far the best way I found is to "buy" a weapon at a negative amount and delete it after which does the job something more straight forward would be nice.

2. Is there a way to adjust gear so it is not effecting my stats?

I was wondering about this since in many games I purchase pack animals or simply drop down my character's backpack when combat starts.

3. When entering deities I clicked other since the one I picked is not a default one. However there was not an option for a favored weapon from them. Aside the adjust option in the Personal, or the Adjust tab to add a proficiency feat is there a way around this?

1) Two ways. Configure Hero and change the starting wealth in the pop-up. Journal tab, and Earn some cash.

2) Not entirely sure what you mean, but if you untick the gear/weapon/armour/magic item, it won't affect your stats unless it's something that doesn't need to be equipped to function. If you also click on the little bag icon (Container) on a piece of gear, there's an option to Give To... and one of the options is Drop on Ground.

Someone else will be better placed to answer number 3, since I'm not at my computer right now to check.

  1. Yep, the Journal Tab is your friend :). Earn or spend your cash there, if you're not using it to buy gear or getting it from selling gear.
  2. You can also pick up a mule/donkey/whatever on the "Other" tab, and move whatever bits of equipment you want to over to them.
  3. I'll also leave #3 to others, as I'm not at my computer either.
