Question regarding views

Hello all, I posted this once but for some reason the forum didn't post it so if It appears later because of delay I apologies.

Is there a way to make it so topics that have containing topics remain minimized. Currently when you swap views from say world almanac to story then back again every single topic that has containing topics opens and clutters the quick access window on the left of the screen. This was not a problem when I only had 50 things there but now that I have so much content is a serious problem.

Thanks

No. When you open a new top, the collapse/expansion state will be remembered and applied to the new tab, but it will not remember from session to session or when switching views.

I use a third-party macro software, PhraseExpress, to create a keyboard shortcut that will collapse everything, so I can quickly collapse the topics and the groups with one shortcut rather than multiple menu click.

Really wish there was an ability to set a preference. I have other features I want first (calendars), but remembering expansion preferences would be real nice.

I'm finding that this issue is forcing me to work in custom views almost exclusively. I load whichever town/area I'm working on at the time into a custom view by itself and edit in there. Otherwise navigation is simply a huge PITA.
