Hey all, first time poster.

I've been using AB for about 6 months and using ABC for about 4.
recently I have been contracted to do some work on some files and I
have run into a wall.

Essentially what it comes down to is three units. Any army can take
these units, but only one of the three units can be taken.

Anotherwords, if I take Unit A, I cannot take Unit B or C. If I take
Unit B, I cannot take unit A or C.

I cannot seem to figure out how to do this.

Anyone have any ideas?

Chris

Give each unit the type "Something" and then use tlmt (race attribute) to
restrict units of type "Something" to a max of 1.

Alrighty. Tried this. All three units are of race 'ra'. Un the 'Unit'
tab, I have given the units 'Unit Type' "Scout".

Then on the 'Race' tab, I give race 'ra' the Special Attribute
"tlmt:Scout-unit=1@max".

save the Race and the units and the file and open AB.

And it does not restrict access to each other if one is chosen. It doesn't
even put up a flag saying you can't have two of these types.

Oddness. Are you using the same case (not "SCOUT" and "scOUt" or anything)?
If you are, email me the files (or post them in the vault, or something)
and I'll give it a look.

Yessir, right case.

Files are confidential right now, so I'll send you an example. Heck,
maybe in creating an example I'll figure it out.

I'll send em as *tut files to be used with the Tutorial Files.
