I run a published campaign I have adapted to my own use. Can I use the maps I own? I am assuming I can as long as I am not selling it on the content store? is this correct or is this tool only useable if I create all my own maps?
 
You are correct.

RPGs fall into a somewhat peculiar category when it comes to "use": it is expected that you will share purchased material with the people you play with.

Since RW is just a different way to share, you don't fall afoul of any rules, since you are using them as expected.

You are, though, absolutely correct that you won't be able to share published material on the content market.

Edit: note that I said "share" not "sell". You are not allowed to upload published material to share for free, let alone sell it.
