OK, I guess it's time for the public apology. I've been buried with work on
the new V2.0 release for AB and I've been working 110+ hours per week for a
very long time now. :-( Unfortunately, there just aren't enough hours in
each day to get everything done, and I got myself way behind on everything.
In order to ensure that V2.0 comes out with all the features that I want to
include, and to ensure that it comes out with the same high quality that
you all have come to expect, I have been forced to "drop some balls". One
of the balls I dropped was all the support emails that come in everyday,
and I hereby apologize to everyone for dropping that ball. I'm now trying
to get caught up on all those emails, so everyone should hear back within
the next 24 hours.
For those of you who don't know it, Army Builder is a one-man show. That
means I get to do everything - development, testing, documentation,
support, marketing, sales, web-site, artwork, ads, business stuff, etc. And
it's been grueling doing it all for V2.0. :-( I'm not trying to excuse the
fact that some of you have been ignored for a week or more. I'm simply
offering an explanation in the hopes that you won't be TOO upset.
I'm
not happy about having to make some of the hard decisions recently
regarding the short-term, but I hope I have made the right decisions for
the longer-term happiness of AB users.
Please forgive me if anyone feels slighted by my decisions. I'm scrambling
on this end and doing what I believe is best for the product and its users
every minute. This is one of the "benefits" of having your own company and
your own product - you get to make all the hard decisions and then live
with the results. I hope you all can understand and are ultimately happy
with the end result in about 6 weeks.
Thanks, Rob
