Yep thanks its a known issue. Let me share a little history. When LW started Pathfinder they copied over the d20 game to give them a place to start and what came with was the 3.5 Psionics rules as they are OGL.
Those structures/framework is still basically functional in the background of HL and activates when some of the right tags where assigned. The issue is what your actually picking for the Psion are "Spells" not "Powers". So the error is correct in saying that you have not picked any "Powers" yet.
I have been playing around using d20 as a base and the RAW XML it produces for Psionics to see if I get a better result. Good news is I have succeeded and if you look at this image you can see how I have Powers now showing on the Psionics tab which makes spending the power points very easy!
So now the bad.
Pathfinder removed the ability to output Powers to a character sheet even the custom sheets. So why its awesome if you use Psionics and HL software at the game if you want a Paper character sheet you get nothing. I am thinking I have no way around this currently so may have to fall back to Spells as powers.If we do then I think the *idea* right now is to remove some of the Psionics tags so HL stops thinking its a Psionic class and activates things in the background like the error message about not picking powers. But we will see....
