After problems with my downloaded Armybuilder registration I have gone out
and purchased the CD version. Having just installed it I downloaded the
latest data files only to have them fail to load.

version 84 runs perfectly, however when I imported version 101 I get an
error message "Special Item 'Armour of Protection' references non-existant
tweak: [wsv4)"

and then 102 "error parsing local attributes for unit [eharch]
[calc:Num=#]"

I am running v2.2c

what to do?

Deleting all the previous files seems to works, but is this really
necessary?

First thing to note - Do you have Armybuilder 2.2c? That is what the files
are made for.

And, as far as I know, the CD-ROM available is only for 2.0. Try
downloading the AB 2.2c update.

If you notice when you install the new updates, there is a check box
near the bottom of the window. It says "Delete files not updated by
the import(recommended in most cases.)" So yes it is necessary,
although painless if you check that box.
