Problem with portraits & PDF printout

Hello again,

I have good news & bad news. :p

On the good news side the program has no problem adding a third portrait and it prints out portraits 2 & 3 on the last page when using the print preview function. :)

On the bad news side when doing the "save as PDF" function it shows on-screen & prints out portrait 2 on the last page twice. Once in the # 2 spot and again when it overrides the # 3 spot. :(

& if you simply must know, portrait # 1 is a group shot of my character and the two women who want to be his happily-ever-after wife in their Hero ID costumes. Portrait # 2 is a group shot of my character and those same two women in civilian (or if you prefer: Secret ID) and Portrait # 3 is the woman everyone suspects he'd prefer to marry if things were less complicated ( yeah, in a comic book superhero universe, figure the odds of that happening LOL ).

Keep up the good work & I hope this'll be an easy fix that won't delay the next update. :)

That's very strange - if you're seeing the same behaviour I am, it works fine when you print preview it, but not when you print it to PDF? That sounds like a bug in Hero Lab that we need to fix. :(

Thanks for the report - I'll investigate this.

PDF bug

Seems to be a bit of a problem with PDF exports, at least for the latest release. In case it makes a difference, I am also using the extended data file.

When one has multiple pictures for a character, the PDF preview mode shows all the pictures fine -- first picture on page one, second picture on page two, and the remaining pictures on page three.

However, once the PDF is created and saved, all the pictures on all the pages are the same (first picture in control), just adjusted to fit in the alloted picture spaces.

BTW, I really like the new format of the standard M&M character sheets. :)

Gordium7's post reminded me about this.

So, umm Colen, is this going to be fixed in the next update?

Gordium7, what I've done to get around this is instead of printing from the PDF I instead use File-Print Preview of the character and print that out. All the pictures show up correctly that way. :)

Thanks for flagging this to my attention, guys. I'll take another look at this and see if I can figure out what's going on...
