Problem assigning channeling

I'm working on a Cavalier order that gains channel energy. It games it 3+Cha bonus times per day with it's cleric level equal to it's cavalier level.

I created the class special to assign to the order, gave channel and assigned it to positive, I set the #trkmax[xChannel] += 3+#attrmod[aCHA] but nothing show's up on the in-play tab and I'm not sure what I am missing.

I modified the eval scripts from that revelation to work with the cavalier but I'm getting this error:

Code:
Linkage pick 'table' not located for current context

I am assuming the script has "linkage
" which is only available for Cleric Domains and Custom Abilities (like Rogue Talents, Wizard Schools, Barbarian Rage Powers, Sorcerer Bloodlines, etc.).

It sounds like you have this on a Class Special which is directly bootstrapped to the Archetype? In that case I think the correct location is " linkage[varies] " instead.

Actually it's a class special bootstrapped to a Custom Ability (which is what Cavalier orders are), and "linkage[varies]" throws the same error.

So I tried bootstrapping xChannel to the Custom Ability and set the tags like the Oracle revelation, and it showed up, but then when I put the bootstrap condition so it only showed up at level 15 or higher it disappeared again.

Did you do a CTRL-R to reload the game system? Once you start messing with Bootstrap conditions "TEST NOW" really does not work right. The best method for testing is to do a reload.

P.S. - I have also tried a short cut in testing of saving the test character. Yea that does weird things also most of the time. So I don't recommend that either. Best is to reload and add the class and archetype again.

One thing to point out, this is not an archetype. It's a custom ability and even reloading the system it still doesn't show.

Shouldn't I be able to do this from a class special and not have to do it from the custom ability that bootstraps the special?

Ok, went back, realized I made a dumb mistake at that the cleric ability is what I needed to copy, did that and it showed up, until I set it to level 15, reloaded the system (completely exited the program even) and still nothing.

Without access to HL and most likely your .user file I am not going to be much more help here. When I get home tonight I will take a look if you are still having issues at that time.
