Private work on D&D 5th Edition

I was wondering if any of you or someone that you know have worked with HL for D&D 5th edition character creator for private use, and how is it working for you? What kind of challenges are or had doing so?

There's been at least 3 that I remember people posting here, unfortunately they've not made them public out of fear of the dreaded C&D.

Do a search on D&D Next or 5E, something may come up.

One name I remember specifically is MagicSN. His implementation is most likely the most complete.
