Printing Problems

One of my player's character has a custom made intelligent weapon, however when I print the character sheet it doesn't populate the weapon's special powers in any of the description lists.
Does anyone know of a work around for this?

You didn't provide allot details so going to fill in some blanks. You open the players .por file and HL toss a bunch of Errors at your about 'Missing Things'. You then click through those errors and attempt to print?

Assuming the above is correct the issue is your player used the editor to make this new 'Thing' and never gave you the .user file. Without the .user file HL has no idea what those Things are in the .por file and so can not print them.

Have your player send you the .user file and load that into your herolab\data\pathfinder folder and try printing the character again.

Shadow I think he is meaning that, if you go to the weapon's tab and create a new custom magic weapon (let's say a magical scimitar), then try to make it intelligent by clicking the button and mark the check box. The abilities you add there don't seem to be printed. Trying this out I can't seem to get it to print the intelligent information either (ability score, languages, skill ranks, etc). Seeing it adds the spells to the actual character those do show up on the printout though

This is at least my understanding of the situation. But as you said yourself there is slightly too little to go on.

LOL totally could be. I read "custom" and thought editor. :p In that case he should put in a bug report about this issue.

General Hero Lab Support & Community Resources is a sticky thread at top of Forum where you request official support for issues. A bug is ANYTHING you think is not working correctly. Weather you know for a fact or are just wondering if it is wrong. Report it using the above links to get an official response from Lone Wolf. :)

Togainu: that's it exactly. And yes the spell names print on the character abilities but no description of how they function and no other information about the weapon's stats.

ShadowChemosh: Thanks. I'll give that a shot.

After all these years we still do not have magic weapon and armor descriptions.
I know two dozen people who use hero lab and complain about this. This program isn't free so is this ever going to be addressed?
