M&M 3rd ed. Power Profiles

Is 3e going to get the new Extras, Flaws and Flats on the various powers that are coming out in the Power Profiles pdf's?

Even if the answer is that they won't be entered by Lone Wolf, an indication that they're fair play for the players at home to input and submit them would likely be welcome. :)

These are definitely something we want to include in the files. I'll let you know when we have more information about this, which should be soon.

I will use this to include a side note (since we are talking about the power profiles). The different ways to use certain Extras and Flaws.

Two examples that come to mind are:

Affliction: In the Tech Powers profile we see a Limited to Third degree only. Probably if you extrapolate that one would think that Second degree only or 2nd and 3rd degrees only or even 1st and 3rd degrees only could be possible too. None of the aforementioned options are currently available in Hero Lab.

Ranged Effect: Just like the Strength Effect power (allowing you to add extras to the ability instead of individual powers) we need a Ranged Effect power. Why? Because in Deadshot's write-up found in Heroes and Villains Volume 1, one can see that he's got an Extra called Extended Range within his Master Marksman power. Considering that the extra must be attached to a ranged effect power, the only possible explanation is that Deadshot is able to extend the range of any ranged attack he performs (which is quite believable being that any ranged weapon at his disposal should get the bonus range).

When I tried to create a Deadshot profile I had to use a custom extra saying that all his ranged attacks are doubled, which needless to say is not the same (the numbers are not accounted in different areas of the profile).
