Post Links to your Custom Sheets here

AcientOne's Complete Sheet updated to v1.1:
  • Traits, Feats, Special Abilities and Magic Items are now hyperlinked from the summary to the detailed text (obviously, this does not apply to printed character sheets).
  • The formula for a concentration check has been added to the Spells Summary page.
  • The DC formula for casting defensively has also been added to the Spells Summary page.
  • Include item powers for custom magic items.
  • Cleric domain spells now included in spell list.
  • Include spell lists for characters built with Archetypes.

Thanks as always, ShadowChemosh!

FYI for all... the next version will be 2.0, and I'm going to start referring to it as a "configurable" character sheet (rather than a "complete" character sheet). That's because 2.0 will include a browser-based control-panel that will allow the user to configure some things about how the sheet looks and prints.

Nice!!

Looking forward to this one!

"Armidale's Pathfinder Sheet" updated to Version 3.10:
* Fix spell display for characters with an archetype (reported by Exitilus)
* Show domains/specialized school (requested by Dragnmoon)
* Include domain/specialized school spells in spell list (reported by Dragnmoon)
* Fill in "spells known" number for spontaneous casters (requested by Dragnmoon)
* Display trait type after traits on page 2 (based on feedback from Dwayne)
* Round item weights to nearest tenth of a pound (reported by Tasha)
* Split languages into a max of 5 per line (requested by Dragnmoon)

Also to respond to

I looked into this but unfortunately the bonus damage does not appear to be available in the XML in any really usable form. So this is a current limitation of HeroLab.

Armidale. It appears after the most recent Hero Labs update that spells are no longer showing up for Archetypes ....

For your gaming pleasure... here's version 2.0 of my custom character sheet. It's a major leap in capabilities over the previous version.

The highlights of version 2.0 are:
  • An on-screen control panel which allows you to customize the layout of your character sheet. Current options include:
    • Choose between traditional and compact layouts for Movement, Skills and Weapons.
    • Hide common weapon/armor/shield proficiency feats.
    • Hide logos (useful when you're not publishing your character).
    • Color-code frequently used values on your sheet (similar to HeroForge feature, if you've used that).
    • Hide/Restore individual items (traits, special abilities, feats, etc.). When you enable this feature, a little red circle will appear next to some items. Click the circle to hide that item.
    • When viewing a portfolio of characters, you can jump directly to an individual character.
  • An on-screen information panel which allows you to view information which is not printed (for example, skill descriptions, equipment descriptions and movement-type descriptions).
  • Pathfinder society character number.
  • Hero Lab legal text and logo. Pathfinder RPG logo.

EDIT: Please let me know if you would like to see more/different customization options. Thanks!

I have to say this sheet officially kicks A$$. WOW! Several features that I can't get in HL the sheet supports! Thanx for all your hard work.

Can we get a forked version of your previous sheet without all this cool stuff. In case we want one that can just be printed and used. No support for it just a different name or something so we can have both versions installed at the same time.

Thanx,

Kizan

"Armidale's Pathfinder Sheet" updated to Version 3.11:
  • Add output options pane to screen output (won't show up when printed) to allow controlling more options than HeroLab supports natively in the Configure Hero screen. Those that HeroLab does support are shown defaulting to what was selected in the Configure Hero screen.
  • Add output option "Show Spell Descriptions" to the output options pane. If set, the sheet will include full descriptions of spells. This option can be set by default for a hero by adding a journal entry of the same name as the option.
  • Add output option "Hide Tracking Boxes" (requested by Dragnmoon) to hide the tracking boxes for items and special abilities. Can be set by default by adding a journal entry of the same name as the option.
  • Add output option "Hide Common Proficiencies" (requested by Kinevon). Can be set by default by adding a journal entry of the same name as the option.
  • Display blocking/deadly/distracting/grapple weapon specials after weapon name in weapon block
  • Fix weapon specials for a few Ultimate Combat weapons
  • Fix ranged offhand weapon attributes
  • Preserve paragraph breaks in trait/feat full descriptions
Also...

Armidale. It appears after the most recent Hero Labs update that spells are no longer showing up for Archetypes ....

That's because HeroLab's Pathfinder V6.8 update clobbered it back to an old version. That was fixed in today's Pathfinder V6.9 update so it won't overwrite the sheet any more.

Thanks much for your comments Kizan!

The short answer is... certainly; I'm happy to post the old version so that it uses a different folder (when I get back to my home PC).

The longer answer is... BTW, the 2.0 version can re-create the 1.x output by setting the Movement and Weapons options to 'Compact' (and disable logos). Although the control-panel itself doesn't print, any options you change *do* effect the printed sheet.

(just wanted to say that in case it wasn't obvious :o )

Dear Roger,

The primary reason I want the old sheet is that I can't save the settings from the new one and I don't want everyone's sheet to be different. I play with some people that need help finding things on their sheet and with new players. It's helpful when everyone's sheet looks the same so I (or others) can help them find things on the page. It there a way to set a cookie (or something) that would save the settings? That way when I print out PC after PC it keeps the settings. I have Hero Lab installed on four machines (all legal!) so I'd love to be able to take my settings file with me too.

I also found a bug. If I turn the colors on and then off the Initiative total box remains colored even when the colors should be off.

Thanx,

Kizan

I'm not sure... It would be a nice feature, but I didn't take the time to look into it before pushing out 2.0. If it's doable, I'll definitely roll it into 2.1.

ShadowChemosh beat you to this one via email, but I'm feeling generous... one zero-trans-fat, sugar-free Recognition Point (tm) to each of you! (Do I know how to reward people who give input, or what? :D )

That may be a healthy recognition point, but how does it taste? ;)

My theory is that anyone who can stomach it the first time will be hungry again soon... they have to keep providing input to get more.

Of course, since we're talking about gamers, my devious plan will fall apart the first some someone offers Recognition Points with extra caffeine and a side of Cheetos.

Here ya go ...

Awesome sheet, man! I print it off in two-sided book format, and everyone loves them. Color coding was a great idea!

Thanks!

As requested by Kizan, and for anyone else who wants it... here's the no-longer-supported version (1.1) of my custom character sheet. I've changed it to install to a different folder so it doesn't conflict with the new/supported version.

Roger,

I have a request for an update to the new sheet. There is an option to limit the feat list. I'd like to request that feature be split. I like a full listing of feats in the feat summary on the first page. But in the full text listing I'd like to limit it and hide the common feats. This way my sheet has a complete listing of feats on it but only full text for the non-common feats.

Thanx,

Kizan

Sure, I can add that... FYI, as a workaround in the interim you can do this by leaving the Feat Display option set to 'Show all' and then use the Item Hiding feature to delete the full-text entries that you don't want to see.

Roger

All... Here's version 2.1 of my customizable character sheet. It fixes one defect and adds a couple of features that were requested today:

  • Feature: Remember control-panel options between uses.
  • Feature: Allow user to keep common feats in the Feat Summary table while still hiding the full feat text.
  • Fix: Correctly remove color from Initiative when color-coding is disabled.

Many thanks for the feedback so far, and don't hesitate to let me know if you have any other suggestions!

Roger
