Plots and Sub Plots

Should sub plots be grouped with the plot like a topic is grouped with a topic that is acting as a container? In this example I created a plot and two subplots, but they don't get grouped with the plot on the lefthand side. I'm thinking it would be useful to group them together.

A difference with plots are that they can be included in more than one parent plot. Topics can only have a single container.
