Good Morning,
I just purchased the Card Vault 1.5a and I need assistance
createing a deck for Pirates of the Spanish Main (WizKids. Is there
an online resource where I could learn how to add crew to ships.
Because all I see are the special character crew members (Capt.
Blackheart, Calico Cat, etc.) but not the basic crew memeber
(Captain, Helmsman,Explorer, etc.)
I would like to be able to utilize the product in making decks
much like my Army Builder does for my WH40k armies. Because, I would
like to create some decks for 30pt. and 60pt. battles and review
them
before digging out all the cards and actually assembling the fleet.
Any help on finding a good tutorial resource or manual for
fleet
building would be great but I currently cannot even add simple crew
to
my fleets.

Thank You,

FH

There are currently a couple of issues with the Pirates files that I hope
to solve very shortly. To fix one of them, go to the Settings menu, Fleet
Construction submenu, and uncheck 'Merge Duplicate Ships'. THis should show
a lot more crew in the available ships list.

Hope this helps,

I'm not sure of the significance of 'unlimited edition'. Where can I find
out about it? What has changed from the 'regular' edition?

WizKids releases Pirates into the hobby market first, and then releases an
unlimited edition of that same set into the mass market about 2-3 months
later. I'm not aware of any differences to the cards themselves, but I may
not have the most current information on that.

If there's no difference to the cards, I don't see what needs to be changed
in the data files to accomodate them. Perhaps the original poster could
help clarify things here?

Thanks.

they changed the numbering to work like the crimson coast and revolutions sets. there were slight errata differences and more than a few ships changed rarity level. also the unlimited edition wasn't just to mass market, this is also being carried in hobby stores now. it is practically all that's available for the first set, so adding unlimited would be greatly appreciated for inventory management at least
thanx, and i apologize for the delay in my post
