PF2 HLO Bug List

I think the point of this is so end users can see a list of known and reported bugs. I know that I am reporting bugs before entering them here. Hopefully this will reduce the number of "Is this a bug?" threads. I know I am reporting bugs through the tracking system prior to mentioning them here. Hopefully everyone else is doing the same.

This was the original intent of my creation of the thread and keeping the OP up to date. I added a disclaimer/request to it so those that come here know what they should be doing.

I've learned a few things that will help with upcoming games because of this thread, assuming they don't get fixed beforehand.

I 100% concur with submitting the bug report before reporting it here.

Exactly. I need to keep track of bugs so that I can adjust characters in my playtest group until the applicable bug(s) are fixed (I have two Goblins in the main character group, for example).

We tend to trust Hero Lab, so it's not like we carefully audit each character after we build them, after all.

Same here. While the bugs reported didn't effect our game (except the Goblin, but the 2HP made no difference yet), it's nice to know about them for the next one.

Good point! In light of that, allow me to add...

If you've already reported a bug through the official system and are simply repeating it here for others to be aware, please note that detail in your post here. That way, we know not to log it into the official system again! :)

Rob,
I'll be updating the OP shortly to include if the bug has been submit or not. I won't police every post here for that, but do confirm them before adding to the OP.

Domain powers not showing up in abilities descriptions when you print out your character sheet just appear under powers as a name no explanation/description anywhere on sheet, also couldnt see anywhere it listed my domain (Building a paladin with the 1st level domain feat)

Also domain abilities/spell have the action type or number of actions to use in the description on the interface (healing domain healers blessing)

Confirmed.

Also does for Bard, so seems like a global issue.

Unsure what you mean in your second line.

Edit: I went ahead and reported this one, as I noticed the same issue for another class after testing.

Disclaimer: This thread is not meant for official bug reports, only clarity to users. Please see OP for proper bug report procedure.

Reported this as a bug, may be a feature request instead, however I consider it as-is a problem.

A spell prepared heightened shows up under level 1 spells on the in-play tab. This should show under level 2, as it's easy to forget you heightened that spell.

Reported printing issues in Microsoft Edge. I normally use Firefox and not Chrome so I figured as long as I had Edge anyway I'd make it my Hero lab Online app, but I get extra blank pages and missing bits with the printouts. Tried using Opera Portable instead and the printouts were great, so I reported it.

I'm sorry about this, but in fixing some spellbook issues, we added a bug that prevents the spells added to a specialist wizard's specialty spells list from being counted, so that specialist wizards cannot get rid of the "Bonus Evocation Spells: Memorize more spells!" validation error (the name in the error message will change to reflect your specialty school).

We'll get this fixed as soon as we can, and I apologize again.

Something funky going on with Bard spells known too. Validation error either has too many, or too few, no in between. This is level 9. It also doesn't show how many of each I should have.

I have 3 of each spell level, except 2 at 5th. I'll bug report after I've tested clearing cache etc.

Edit: Leveling up 1 at a time, hitting 3rd level you're supposed to get 2 2nd level spells, get validation error selecting the second.
Edit: Getting 1 too few spells per level except 1. And cantrip expansion does not work.

I had just wanted to post a known bug before we got too many reports about it because it was a bug we had created in this release. We still would like to get bugs posted through our bug tracker, please.

Work in progress (was at work, just got home). Also updating OP as I go.

Okay, because you quoted my post, I wanted to make sure you had posted yours as a separate issue. It is not caused by the same issue that's affecting the specialist wizards, so I didn't know if you were adding that on as a report of an additional symptom of that bug.

I did JUST in case it was. I submit 4 reports though, all Bard related lol.

I just created a wizard and can't add anything to a spellbook. Is there something I am missing here? The thing is just blank with no way to add spells.

Did you add the free spellbook in the equipment section?

You add spells on the spellbook itself. You also need to select your spellcasting ability on the spellbook (hope this makes sense, lol)

ok, bought the book for free, why it isn't added automatically (like it is in Classic) is a question.

Now, for the bug I just reported, it is showing the Divination added spells as the full compliment for the spellbook and prepare sections instead of the one (1) spell that it actually provides in the rules. I doubt that I should have 20 cantrips and 18 1st level spells at 1st level. Something I did not mention in the bug report is that it is adding the additional spell on both as well when it should be a separate addition for the Divination section alone.

I swear there was text somewhere saying so, but now I can't find it...
Anyway, its because it's not implemented yet.

I'm noticing the spellbook requiring 37 spells be added, but only for specialized schools (checked Divination and Enchantment) but doesn't have this issue for universalist.
