Paying for the cost of adding spells to spell book

I can't find a way to add spells to my character's spell book and to pay for the cost of scribing those spells. What I have been doing is subtracting them from the amount of money I make for each Pathfinder Society module that I have played. Am I missing where this is handled by the program?

The Journal tab is the correct place to record expenses that don't show up on your character as an actual item.

You can have more than one journal entry per module - if you want, you could create a journal entry that's just for the spell purchase transaction.
