When I open my character on the iPad app none of the bows I created show up as weapons. I created 4 different bow and tried all of them.

The only error I get is a brief one line error message something like "un named thing in line 720."

I got around it by creating the bow in the iPad app.
 
Are these weapons you created in the editor with a .user file? If so you have to move the .user file over to the iPad to get it work. See THIS page for getting help loading .user files to the iPad.

Is it the case you just don't see them on the main page? You have to equip or set "show but don't equip" a weapon the iPad to get it to display on the front page. In this case click the change weapons button above weapons and then set the bows to be equipped.

If none these help then we need more info please. :)
