Pathfinder Bug Reports - version 6.13

Not open for further replies.
1) The Evangelist Cleric archetype gives the ability Sermonic Performance.
This ability is similar in all respects to bardic performance as used by a bard of the same level (including interactions with feats, spells, and prestige classes), using Perform (oratory) as the evangelist’s performance skill.
Some - but not all - of the feats which have bardic performance as a prerequisite are not recognizing Sermonic Performance as fulfilling that prerequisite. For example, Extra Performance works fine. The ones I have been able to identify as not working:
Leaf Singer
Lingering Performance
Spellsong
Stone Singer
War Singer

2) Also the Evangelist should get all Perform skills as class skills (currently does not).

3) Stalwart Defender is misspelled in one place - on the class tab (Stalward Defender). It seems to be fine everywhere else.

+1 Eidolon Skill Point

Is anyone else seeing an issue where the favored Summoner class bonus for a human of +1 skill point to your Eidolon is not being added to the Eidolon itself?

I have been using the other options to add it manually (like you can do to pick the 4 class skills for your Eidolon).

This one is Odd..

1 your Potion of Enlarge Person is priced wrong, it is marked as 250gp when it should be 50gp.

Also when I go to make it a custom potion I see this error, and the spell is grayed out..

"The target of the potion is the drinker, so normally only touch range spells are brewed into potions"

That is incorrect, The spell does not need to be range touch, it just needs to target one or more creatures or objects, so no caster only spells.

Book: APG
The "Perceive Cues" spell adjustment (thingid.pPerceiveC) has the Oath of Peace description.

The actual eval script correctly applies the +5 to Perception and Sense Motive.

Sorry :(

I tried to subtract 5 silver from the money total and was given the warning that I couldn't have a negative amount of silver pieces!

Yet entering a negative amount of gold subtracts the gold amount from the total.

Eg 185 gold total.
Spend 28 silver (2 gold 8 silver) enter -2 in GP and -2 in SP the silver amount is highlighted in red warning letters.

Please make the money addition / subtraction mechanism standardised.

The spell Suffocation is not being added to the Elemental Air spell list for Wizards.

Not sure I mentioned this earlier, but the PFS Field Guide's version of Dueling is not adding it's luck bonus to the appropriate CMB/CMD numbers.
From the Guide:
When a dueling weapon is used to perform a
combat maneuver that utilizes the weapon only (see below),
it grants a luck bonus equal to twice its enhancement
bonus on the CMB check made to carry out the maneuver.
The dueling weapon also grants this same luck bonus to
the wielder’s CMD score against these types of combat
maneuvers. These combat maneuvers include disarm and
trip maneuvers, but not bull rush, grapple, or overrun
maneuvers. If you’re using the additional combat maneuvers
in the Advanced Player’s Guide, this also includes any
dirty trick maneuvers that utilize the weapon, as well as
reposition combat maneuvers, but not drag or steal combat
maneuvers. Note that this luck bonus stacks with the
weapon’s enhancement bonus, which in and of itself adds to
CMB checks normally.

Any timeline on changing Arcane Archer to be open to any race? Not a huge thing, since it works - just annoying having everything be in red.

My copy of the Core book has it as Elf/Half-Elf only, unless that has been erattaed somewhere I can only give advice on how to modify and replace your specific copy rather than changing the core program.

A few bugs
Monk - Martial Artist is allowed to be non-lawful but when you level up it lists monk as illegal for not being lawful. This is only for the class selection but it does not list the character as illegal after selection.
Sorcerer - Empyreal should have all their sorcerer abilities modified by wisdom but their heavenly fire ability still uses charisma.
Sorcerer - Pit Touched has the wrong bloodline arcana listed. It is being given the +2 to dc on charm spells instead of the bonus to intimidate.

Martial Artist bug is added to the to-do list, others should be fixed now.

Not sure if this has been raised before, but I created a small sized Cavalier and Wolf was listed as not compatable with the Cavalier, but the description states small sized characters can select wolf in the description.

I can't reproduce this, I made a gnomeish cavalier and wolf is a valid selection. Anything else that could be interfering with this, like archetypes or other classes with companions?

1) Amateur Gunslinger for the Ranger Trophy Hunter archetype is not swapping out to Extra Grit when conditions are correct. Workaround is to create a version of cRgrFirSty that grants the Amateur Gunslinger & Extra Grit bonus feats the same way cPalHavGun does for the Paladin Holy Gun archetype.

2) Paladin Holy Gun archetype description contains the completely irrelevant text for Holy Slinger (Su).

Both fixed for the next release

I started reading through the thread, but it was late and I saw the thread is 42 pages long, so I apologize if this has been mentioned before. The "Integrated" alternate racial trait for half-elves (Advanced Player's Guide p. 17) is granting +1 to Diplomacy instead of Disguise. The tooltip is correct, but the bonus is applying to the wrong skill. I checked it out in the Editor, and the Eval script is definitely crediting the incorrect skill (Diplomacy instead of Disguise). Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to change or even copy it because it's part of a supplement, even though I own that supplement data package for HeroLab. :(

Also, the Feat "Monastic Legacy" does not appear to be working correctly. I have a character that is Monk 6/Ninja 6, which should have a 1d10 damage bonus (6 Monk levels + 6/2 Ninja levels = 9 Monk levels for purposes of Unarmed Damage), but he is only showing 1d8.

The Integrated ART is fixed. I could not reproduce the error with Monastic Legacy, it appears to be calculating correctly.

I also have a cleric of sarenrae in the group who is listed as having 7 divine bolts of fire per day, but in the IN PLAY tab, which should list these as 0/7 or 7/7, there is nothing. It lists his channel energy and healer's kit, but not his bolt usage...

The ability was showing on the spells tab, but as it is not replicating an existing spell I moved it to the In-Play tab for clarity.

The Contract Devil from Bestiary 3 is a CR 10, not CR 13 as listed.

The Inquisitor's judgement ability for energy resistance is not chosen at level 1, but instead chosen at the time the resistance is put up (so it can be different every time you activate it). As such, it should probably be moved to the "Activated Abilities" on the "In-Play" tab.

The CR is correct at 10, I believe you are looking at the "Level 0+13" line by mistake

In a PFS character, I chose the Vivisectionist archetype and the Brew Potion feat replacement doesn't seem to have worked correctly. It seems that the character still has Extra Bombs instead. For reference (from the "PFS Organized Play - Additional Resources" document:)

"...the vivisectionist alchemist gains Skill Focus (Craft [alchemy] or Knowledge [nature]) in place of Brew Potion at 1st level..."

This is probably known, but haven't been able to find a note about it in the bugs list so adding it here.

Fixed

Its in the latest ERRATA rules page 3 update 4.0 released 11/22/2011:
"Page 374—In the Arcane Archer class description,in the first paragraph, in the first sentence, change“Elves or half-elves who seek” to “Many who seek”."

Sorry the more important line is:
Page 374—In the Arcane Archer requirements section, delete the line “Race: Elf or half-elf.”
