Pathfinder Bug Reports - Version 4.0

I'd like to apologize for the fact that there are currently 2 active bug reports threads. The v3.6 thread was the active thread for the weeks leading up to Gen Con while I was adding the APG material to HL, so I didn't have time to address the issues reported there until I got back from Gen Con, and I still haven't finished addressing them all, since I'm also trying to add more APG material at the same time.

My goal is to get v4.1 out around the end of this week. Hopefully by then I'll have gotten through the v3.6 and v4.0 bug reports threads, and can start a clean 4.1 thread, but in the meantime, please glance through both the 3.6 and 4.0 threads to make sure your question hasn't been previously reported.

There's also a "Search this Forum" option at the top right of the thread listing - that's always a good idea before posting bug reports - there are a few things left-over from older bug reports threads that I haven't had the chance to address yet (but are still on my to-do list) that people are repeating.

Here's kind of a bizarre one...
Paladin5/Ranger1 - effective druid level for the paladin mount should be 5, but the ranger level -3 is applied, so you end up with an effective druid level of 3 for the paladin.

Changing a PC's alignment results in "alignment must be within one step of Deity's" validation error, even thou all requirements have been met. PC switched from LE to NG. I had to end up re-creating PC from scratch to fix.

The Deity's alignment validation error should only be reported if your character has a class that requires the selection of a specific deity - Cleric or Order of the Star Cavalier. I'm afraid you'll need to tell me more about the character before I can understand what went wrong.

The Failed Aprientice half elven trait give plus two initative and thats not what it does

I'm afraid I can't duplicate this. I added failed apprentice to a character, and the initiative doesn't change. The text appears to match the APG text for the feat.

I just created a group of new characters today. All of them seemed to get the Prestidigitation spell added to them for some reason (even the rogue and fighter).

You'll need to be more specific about what's happening and where you're seeing the error before I can try to duplicate what's happening and figure out why.

Selected Archetype "Two-Weapon Fighter" and found that the ability "Defensive Flurry +1" inder the "Fighter" tab is granted at 2nd level where the books lists the ability is granted at 3rd level. An additional +1 is added every 4 levels (6th, 10th etc) correctly but of course off by a level (should be 7th, 11th etc to go along with the 3rd level initialization). All the other abilities seem to be in the correct level/order for the Two-Weapon Fighter.

Fixed in the next update, thanks for the report.

I'm afraid I can't duplicate this unless I select Animal Companion in the Hunter's Bond list for the Ranger. But at 1st level, the Ranger has no Hunter's Bond selections available, so adding it at that point is a validation error. (Although you might want to do so temporarily if you were creating a Paladin/Ranger, to make sure that the race was allowed by both classes).

In case its not been reported, the Craft Armor skill has 2 unique ids thus it's listed twice when I try to add it to my character.

Unfortunately, we don't know which of those copies players have added to their characters, so if we deleted one copy, many saved characters would lose their Craft: Armor skill. We've figured out how to fix this, but haven't had the chance to implement it yet.
