Pathfinder BB addition...

Hi there, new Hero Lab and forum user here. :)

So I'm running two separate Pathfinder games: one a full Core rules game, and one a Beginner Box game. I purchased Hero Lab on the recommendation of my Core group and it's awesome.

I'm using it for my Beginner Box group as well; one of the players is playing a Wizard (Illusionist School) and really wanted the Color Spray spell. So I figured that wasn't a big deal, I have the Core rulebook and it is a cool spell. Only... even on my purchased Hero Lab with the Pathfinder license, I can't seem to add the spell to the Beginner Box files; it won't let me use the editor when the Beginner Box files are loaded.

Given that I purchased Hero Lab and it's a valid license, why can't I edit the Beginner Box files? Is there any way I can add Color Spray in so I can put it on the character's sheet?

Thanks,
Tim.

In order to use content from the core rulebook that is not in the beginner box, you wll need to use your full version of the Pathfinder files, and not the Beginner Box. The beginner box has a locked-out editor.

Poo. That means that the players are going to see all the skills they can't have yet. Can I put in a feature request, that if you have a valid license (as opposed to the free starter edition) that you can edit the Beginner Box files?

Either that or hope that someone comes out with a community edition of the Beginner Box files. Maybe I'll look into creating one... I'm a software developer by trade, it can't be that hard. :)

Thanks for the reply!
