Overriding archetype replacements

Is there a way in Hero Lab to override what an archetype replaces? I tried simply re-adding the ability back through a custom template or custom archetype, but that didn't seem to work. Am I needing to simply make a custom copy of that archetype that doesn't replace it?

Delete the AbReplace tag from the archetype before it gets forwarded to the hero. You'll have to do it pretty early I think.

In an eval script on a mechanic or something else added to the character? With a new version of the archetype which replaces the old?

Can you give me a little more information on why you want to do this? Is it a house rule and thus should be applied to all characters? Is it a custom item that mitigates something taken away in an archetype?

It's a house rule given to the specific character. Sounds like attaching it via eval script on a mechanic added to the character is he way to go. Essentially it's a Kensai that retains Spell recall. So I'm trying to find a way to grant it back.

My Adjustments addon has one called "Ability: Restore" that is able to re-activate a Racial Ability or Class Ability that has been disabled by a Archetype or ART.

In this case you would have to have two-adjustments as Spell-Recall is on the character twice at level 4 and level 11.

So feel free if you wish to take the script and put it on a mechanic but as it sounds like its a specific character only to have this boon I would use the adjustment.
