Options Mismatch?

Suddenly, all the characters in my campaign are showing a blue "options mismatch" indicator on the PCs menu, and I can't seem to find a way to figure out what it means. At first I thought it was having more active weapons than the new weapons locker update allowed, but upon investigation, even characters with 3 weapons still have this flag. I've checked the options for the characters too, and can't seem to find anything out of place.

I wanted to ask about it here before submitting a bug. Is anyone else having this issue? Has anyone found a solution?
 
The tooltip seems to be popping up now (or maybe i just missed it the first time?). Still seems really odd to me because I never changed the campaign options, and ALL of my characters in the campaign are flagged.

Would be very helpful if this feature actually told what the mismatch was, instead of forcing me to cross examine 8 nearly identical options menus to figure out what's going on.

Something was misbehaving, so we yanked this in the hotfix today. We'll figure out what was going wrong and correct it before exposing it. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, an option to synchronize individual cast members - or even all cast members - with the campaign options is coming.
