Not trained with shields?

Anyone see this? I'm trying to create a champion and purchase/add a shield. They all appear as red and get "you are not trained with that armor". I see the same for a fighter I built a few weeks ago if I try to add a shield.
I don't often build melee shield users so not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I assume it should at least not have an error trying to purchase for classes trained in All Armor

Doesn't show as Trained on character sheet but maybe it never did for shields?
 
Yeah, that's a bug with the armor validation we added to provide a reminder of which you would/wouldn't be trained in when making purchases. A fix should be going out with our next update, sorry for the confusion.
