"No web browser could not be located"

I'm trying to purchase data packages for Pathfinder. It keeps telling me "No web browser could be located, is your browser set up properly?" I updated HL & Pathfinder. Restarted HL & computer. I use Chrome. I'm able to access wolflair.com........

I want to buy some data packets...what do I need to do?
 
To resolve this issue, please follow the following steps:
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the File menu, determine whether the Work Offline option is enabled.

If it is, please disable it. For someone reason "Work Offline" has been turning on for some of our users within IE, even if they don't use the browser, and this will keep people from successfully updating their product. Please let me know if this solves your problem.
