Nights Rest

First off, already reported as a bug.

Action Points are being reset after clicking the button. Should only be reset after leveling.

If anyone has an idea to keep items, traits, etc. on the tracked resources from being reset I would like to know.

Might be nice to have a check box on the items, traits, etc. to avoid being reset.

i.e. I have a trait called God Calls that gives the players a very limited number of chances that a deity will help them (just might be what they want, gods are fickle). It works like Action Points in being reset when a character levels. Now if the Nights Rest button is clicked it is being reset with every click.

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback! We're making some tweaks to night's rest in today's bugfix release that will stop it affecting Hero Points (and anything else without an explicit usage), and adding a checkbox to the editor to control it explicitly for your own items.

Also, what "Usage Period" do you have set?

The following will trigger HL to add Helper.NoNightRes for you:
/week, /month, /year, /adventure, /session, /5 days, charges, damage

Actually, check Colen's message - in tonight's bug fix release, the lack of a "Usage period?" setting will also become something that assigns Helper.NoNightRes for you.

I've also just finished adding an editor checkbox for Helper.NoNightRes, so that'll be in the update, too.

Yea but I already changed the AP tracker to give additional info and have a Usage.Level tag. So I think I will just put on the "Helper.NoNightRes" and be safe. :)
