Ng and Favored Weapon

Why is Ng's favored weapon showing up as Unarmed Strike? I have Pathfinder Campaign Setting: The First World, Realm of the Fey, and it still lists his Favored Weapon as Gauntlet.
 
We actually had to ask paizo about that one, since favored weapon for deities has a variety of effects. They said, if I recall correctly, that gauntlets don't count as a seperate weapon so much as an enhancer to unarmed strikes, and so we should use that instead when rules required.
