Next .user custom content question: data on character sheet

Okay so I'm working on some more custom content via the tool set.

The best example of what I'm trying to accomplish is this. Referencing this dragonborn created by another user.

http://forums.wolflair.com/showpost.php?p=47459&postcount=11

This race has a custom breath weapon that does various damage depending on level. The user has entered the 'information' in the tool set.

I have something similar I'm working on, and what I'm trying to do, is get that same block of info onto the character sheet so the player can reference it.

I hope I'm explaining that bit properly. If that's gibberish, I'll try again.

Sorry I am not following exactly. What "Block of Info" on the character sheet?

Going to assume here that you are dealing with a Racial Special and the text you entered is not showing on the character sheet. If that is the case you have to have the "Show in Specials List?" check marked on the Racial Special Thing.

If that is not what your after sorry I am just not getting the exact question....

I had that checked ShadowChemosh.

I know how to explain it better. We're both on the same 'sheet of music' though.

Okay, so I'm adding in my version of a Dragonborn via the tool editor. I'm working on the Racial Breath Weapon.

I have all the data working fine (mechanically speaking).

Now, on the "Racial Special" tab. In the "Description Text" box is the description of the power. Example:

Dragonborn can use a breath weapon three times per day. the breath weapon is a line with a range of 5 feet plus 5 feet per Hit Die, to a maximum of 100 feet. It inflicts 1d6 damage plus 1d6 per 3 HD the Dragonborn possesses. This damage may be acide, cold, electricity, or fire; the specific type is chosen at creation and cannot be changed afterward.

I want this block of information, from the "Description Text" box to show up on the character sheet too, so the player can reference how the damage works.

How do I do that? (If even possible) or am I going about it the wrong way and there's a much better way?

Thanks!

Paper output.

I want the player to be able to read how the damage works instead of just purely seeing the ability and the 3/day on their character sheet.

Ah ok I think I understand now. Go to "Character->Configure Hero..." On the new window on the right side scroll down to the "Output Options" at the very bottom and check mark "Show Feat/Ability Descriptions". That will have HL print the first 3 sentences on the HL default character sheet.

If you want the full descriptions to print out you will have to use a Custom Character Sheet. Their are currently two available in THIS thread. The first one is mine and has full descriptions but it's not as pretty as sebacore and everyone likes their pretty stuff. :)

His latest version is HERE and its really nice and has full descriptions for abilities print out on the last page.
