New Weapon Question

Ok I am running an artificer. In my last game we made a new Weapon called a Caster (Yes it was inspired from the anime Outlaw Star). We changed a few things like making it into a shot gun and only allowing you to make shells from spells with either a range touch attack or a touch attack.
example: Acid Arrow (Ranged Touch Attack)
example 2: Chill Touch (Touch Attack)
So my question is how would i go about constructing this weapon in Hero Lab.

The weapon would probably just be a mundane weapon. I assume for the shells you want them to be set up to pick this or that spell? You might be able to do something like the custom scroll form, I'd start by copying that and see if you can tweak the candidate expression to only allow touch spells.

Okay i tried that and couldn't make it work properly. Is there anyone who can possibly build it for me just let me know.

Aaron it's perfect it's exactly what i needed. But i am confused why do spells from the complete spell compendium not showing up or any custom spell for that matter from like Eberron data files. Again thank you so much it's wonderful.

My guess is that the people who entered those spells didn't add SpellEff tags when they created the spells. Since I am filtering for the presence of one of those tags, anything which lacks it won't show. You should be able to modify the eval script to remove that criteria and show all spells, if you prefer.

You could, but you'd have to copy and replace every spell single spell you'd want to modify that way. It'd be a lot of effort.

Well i found out who ever converted all the spells from D&D Spell compendium is a user file so i have been able to just go through them and add a spell effect and it's work great so far.
