The "Show Unit Details" frame does not show unit details until it is added to the roster. I would like to browse the "Available Units" and see the details of each unit type to help me make my selection. Is there another frame type for this?

I really only play one game, 40k. is there a way to set the default "Game System" and default "Race" so that AB will open without prompts?

The unit details info window contains whatever info the data file writers choose to include. It appears that the 40K team is not currently including all the details when a unit is selected in the "Available" list. However, you can see this working within various other game systems. So this particular request needs to be directed to the 40K team, then they can revise things to include the details from the "Available" list.

As for startup shortcuts, you CAN specify the game system to always use, but you can't currently specify the race. For details on specifying this, please see the User Manual. Go to the Miscellaneous Features section and look under Command Line Options.
