New here, thinking about buying for my Pathfinder game, couple of questions.

I'm fairly new to PF and each and every program that I've used to create a character, including HL, has a +3 Misc modifier for Skills. Does anyone know what this modifier is? For example, my Rogue is 8th level with a Dexterity of 20. I have 8 Ranks in Acrobatics, +5 Dexterity, + 3 Misc. What is the Misc.? Is it a Class Skill? Bonus due to armour? What is it?
 
Without seeing the char its difficult to say. it could be from he normal skill levels for class skills. PF gives a one time +3 for class skills.

I cant say that is the case here, it could be a magic item the character has, or something like that as well.
 
Pathfinder has done away with the 1/2 rank per level for cross class skills and the 3+1 per level max ranks for class skills. Instead what you have is all skils are allowed a maximum one rank per level, and if it is a class skill you get a +3 bonus to the skill.
