Need to create a Boon Mod

Ok, I need help. I have assigned to a Hunter character the Gen Con 2014 Boon #2 regarding my animal companion. I have absolutely no idea how to build mods, so I need someone to either lay it out, step by step, or just build it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The relevant text of the boon is as follows:

"You may spend 5 Prestige Points to strengthen your bond with that type of animal. This increases your effective Druid Level as one higher when determining the animal companion's bonus HD, natural armor bonus, Strength and Dexterity bonuses, bonus tricks, and special abilities. This boon cannot increase your effective druid level more than one level above your actual druid level."

There is an Adjustment for Increase Companion Level, which appears to work on Hunters (though I'm not that familiar with Animal Companions). Would that be sufficient for the character?
