Mythic Addition

I have existing heroes that were created without being mythic. I now want to add mythic to them. I can't seem to find a way to simply add mythic tiers to an existing character. It looks like they had to be created to start with this way? Is there a way to do this without going back and re-creating all of these heroes again? I have dozens of these already and many more from other sources. I just want to add some mythic tiers to them for my mythic campaign. Or add through the encounter builder and then make some of the additions mythic. It seems like this should be something that is doable and I just did not find where to do this!

Go to the configure character Ctrl+K.
look for Mythic Adventures. Check it.
Then check the Mythic Character check box.
This will show the Mythic Tab.
 
Just a note, if you go to configure character to turn OFF Mythic character, be sure to set your tiers to 0 first.

Otherwise I've had mythic bonuses still apply to characters as it just seems to "hide" the tab.
