multilanguage data-file / translations

Hi!

Does AB support multi-language datafiles? I was not able to find datafiles other than english ones.
Also many People wrote thats the AB system is quite bad for translation tasks.

Does anyone plan to support this in future? Or is there a discount available for international customers?

Hi,

I also wonder if AB will be translateable in the future and what the plans are here. It was one main reason for me to upgrade from AB 2 to to AB 3 that there was mentioned the multilanguage part...
Would be great to hear something about the plans.

AB3 was designed with translation support in mind. In fact, most of the necessary functionality is already in place within AB3. The biggest challenge in accomplishing this is in coordinating and performing all of the necessary translations, followed by testing the heck of things to make sure that everything works in multiple languages. That's a major undertaking that we still have to do, and it requires language expertise that we don't currently have on staff. For the upcoming V3.1 release, our focus has been on additional functionality that a lot of people have been clamoring for. After that, translations are among the many competing things we're going to be prioritizing when we start planning for the following release.
