I am a level 2 wizard and want to take a class in cleric at next level but if I click cleric it puts the cleric a lv 3 instatde of lv 1 how do I properly do this ???
 
The number to the left of the class is your Character level, not the class level. By adding 2 levels of wizard, and 1 level of cleric, your character is 3rd level. So it is putting your cleric at first level.
