Wow. Come to think of it, I recently upgraded my CPU and motherboard. I
didn't change the contents of the hard drive though, and didn't have to
reinstall anything. AB operated just fine, and I totally forgot about that
"Keyed to Computer" feature.

The problem is that I will soon be updating my hard drive and reinstalling
everything -- there's nothing as refreshing as a clean new HD. And that begs
the question, will I then have to go through the registration transfer
process because my hard drive is being changed even though the program works
without flaw with my new cpu and motherboard now? I imagine that the
registration check is a one time check when it's initially installed, and
since the current HD is unchanged from the original installation it will
work perfectly fine until I update the HD and reinstall everything. Am I
correct in this belief, Rob?

Oh, I am aware of that. But it's a mess. The whole point of reinstalling
everything from scratch is to eliminate the build up of crap on the HD in
terms of orphaned files, and the like.
