Monster codex templates

I don't seem to find the monster codex templates. I'm trying to build a monk kyton using the rules in pages 246-249 of the pathfinder monster codex, but I'm unable to find the monk template.
I of course own both the bestiary 3 and the monster codex in my licence.
 
You've double-checked that Monster Codex is turned on for this character?

If you're getting the monster you're starting with from the Encounter Builder, it will have as few books turned on as possible, because otherwise, every book that's turned on becomes a required book for anyone grabbing that monster from the Encounter Builder.
 
I thought that it was turned on, because I turned it on for the main character.
After checking it, you were absolutely right, many thanks!!
