Modern Beta - Done

VERY COOL, Thanks for the help dude!!!

Only thing is I didn't have it validate that the weapon taken for weapon focus, and specialization etc is a weapon finessable weapon.

Im also adding the Tracer to the Future datafile.

Here is the Musketeer from the Past book.

I didn't implement Flurry of steel as well as I could have, but it works as is, since you only ever gain one additional attack from it anyway.

I personally am gonna remove the weapon focus Musket part of the requirements, but since its in the book i added it.

Very cool! Thank you again!
I updated the zip file with all your add ons, I also updated the "1st" file with other Modern rule books and blank files as a place holder if anyone wants to work on anything.
Thanks again for all your work and help!!!!

Nice. I am gonna work on adding the Gunslinger and Soldier sometime today. Might go ahead and do all of the core advanced classes while I am at it.

I also want to add, I didn't add Track as a prereq to the Tracer class, since pathfinder did away with the feat. I noticed after you added it in as a modern feat though, so might want that changed.

Another small thing I noticed is that you have all the skill ranks put in as 5, 7, 9 etc. but you should subtract 1 from those because Modern is assuming people are playing humans. I did the same as well for the prestige skill ranks, only realizing after that it will award the human skill point twice essentially (one built into the class and herolab giving all humans an extra skill point). Basically a really wordy way of saying modern characters are getting a free skill point in herolab. :)

Cool, I just a little bit of work on the base classes and I am trying to follow along with this website. I still have the classes go to level 20, but I did adjust the hit points and skills as per their sight. It would be good if we were all on the same page.

Also I did take out the defense bonus for all characters and added the defense bonus to the base classes as per the above website, but going to level 20. I think this may give a little balance for the Base Classes.

Thanks again for all your help!

BTW - I did add track back in, just for completion for the rules. Same for some of the skills, I don’t think some of the skills are needed and/or can be combined (like Investigation and Research), but I added them back in.

Do you think that the Surgery feat should only have a prereq of 1 heal rank (and heal as a class skill perhaps)? It was 4 ranks of treat injury because that was max ranks at first level if it was a class skill..

Edit: 10 of 12 advanced classes in Modern core done... :)

That is very very cool!!!!
Thank you for all your hard work! It's a big help dude!
I think when your done whith that the whole Modern Core book will be done, (all but the monsters, still not sure how to handle them).
Thanks again!

Do you think the monsters should be done next, (to have the core book finished) or wait to do monsters last after all the player info in the other books?

I think I'll do some work on d20 CoC and d20 MCWoD, (seeing the main book is almost done), for the Pathfinder Modern dataset.

I am going to leave out all descriptions and just add a MLA description of where you can find the info.

I think it will be ok, but if there is a “no-no” then I will not post it.

I think I have a better idea, I think I will make “generic OGL setting” called “Shadow Heroes”. Using common names” Vampire, werewolf, demon, ect. Fairly easy except the class powers. I need to find some OGL supernatural powers that I can add to the classes. Anyone have any good OGL ideas?

I noticed you used Natural Armor for Class Defense Bonus now, but Class defense applies vs. touch attacks and Natural Armor does not.

Also I am almost done with the advanced classes in core. I just have a minor issue with the Techie.

Very cool, send it in when you are ready.
Yea, the defense bonse gave it to "Everyone" mansters and all. So it kind of defeted the reason for it.
I added an +1 natural ac, but I can change it to fit the touch attacks.
Thank you again so much dude! VERY BIG HELP!!
