Merging portfolios

I didnt realize that portfolios were different that characters until I'd already created several. is there any to merge characters from multiple portfoilios into one?

As per my answer in the other place you posted this, portfolio files are just ZIP files with XML files in them, so I suspect it is technically possible to do an automated merge.
