Master scope

Still reading the tips & tricks guide.

There is a chapter about the master scope filter. The example is very clear. But how to tag content on a master scope, I have no idea.

Any help?

If this makes sense: the filter you can set in the top section of the dialog opened by the tag icon (the Scope Filter button in 3.3.2) is the filter visible but not settable on the bottom of the dialog opened by the magnifying glass icon (the Filter button in 3.3.2, also Ctrl-Shift-F).
