Making External Object Snippets Searchable

One of the cool, easily overlooked, minor feature enhancements is:

External object snippets can have special search text assigned to them via the snippet Options menu. This text is stored with the snippet and added to the full-text search index so that the topic is located when any matches occur within that text.

Very nice way of adding hidden search terms for an image or audio file. Works great. The one downside I see is that it will be easy to forget that you've added this hidden search text and you may not know why a certain topic or article is shown in a search filter. Hopefully, you would be limiting the search text to terms that make it fairly obvious. You'll certainly want to avoid using very common words in the object snippet search text.
 
Good point. We should indicate this in some way when it's employed. I'll add that to the list. :)
