Magus Archetype

One of my players wanted to play a Red MAge (Final Fantasy Series) in Pathfinder.

For a stop-gap temporary solution I had him multiclass sorcerer and paladin. then I used Hero Lab to make a complicated attempt at it before a fellow DM suggested making a Magus Archetype that got a small selection of divine spells by sacrificing bonus feats and some equipment proficiencies.

My question is how to make Hero Lab do this. I got the buttons for spontaneous bonus spells and spontaneous spellbook spells to select the spells I want but when i went to create a test character, I was unable to select the spells I had selected.

any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Note: Red Mages are able to us all except the best of weapons/armor, and a truncated selection of Black (arcane) and White (divine) magic. and in Final Fantasy XI they were given 'unique' sword/armor augmentation spells

I wish I could help. I've been having the same kind of problems. I can't even figure out how to make HL show those spells. I have a Wordcaster Kensai Magus who is being allowed to learn Words of Healing as Bard, because we don't have a healer other than the paladin.

I would love to know how to get HL to let me add those sort of spells because it's so much easier to make up wordspells on HL than IRL.
