Magic items - where are people putting them?

Hi folks,

I did some searching and didn't find something within a reasonable time but also still waking up.

How are people putting magic items, generally custom ones or otherwise? I know about Named Equipment but I'm thinking those are for things like Excalibur or Elminster's Pipe.

If there's a thread going for this, I apologize; let me know and I'll try to get this one deleted.

Thanks in advance!

For artifacts I use "Named Objects" or "Named Equipment" depending on what it is. For run of the mill magic items I use the magic item entry from the mechanics side. The difference is that artifacts are unique and usually have story have attached while generic magic items are not generally unique and may have very little story attached.

I get the distinction, yes, and agree. As I said, I use the Named Items one as you do.

However, I do not seem to have a Magic Item category in the Mechanics area. Did you add that? I can't imagine I would delete such a basic category.

The Pathfinder realm has one under Equipment. So does the D&D realm. What system is the realm you want to do this in?

Down the side under Realm Aspects should be General, Game Sessions, Members, Invitations, Game System

Yeah....Bottom of last post I edited in that I found it to be Legacy.

I'm running D&D 3.5 so I don't want it to be PF or 5E. I'll just make a category myself. Thanks :)

No reason you couldn't convert a copy of your realm to the Pathfinder version and see if there were problems. 3.5 and Pathfinder are very close to each other as far as RW is concerned. You might wind up with a few extra class names tags or some stuff like that but does that even matter?
