Mac - Not sure if this is a bug or not

I'm not sure if this is intended behavior or not, but I notice that when I open a .por file by double-clicking on it while Hero Lab is already open, a new instance of Hero Lab is opened, rather than the file opening in the existing Hero Lab window. This also has the side effect of causing Hero Lab to appear multiple times in the Dock, which as a Mac user is just weird!

Is this the way it's supposed to work, or is this actually a bug?

Since HL doesn't allow for multiple .pors to be open in a single instance, I'm pretty sure this is intended behavior. Otherwise the initial instance would be forced to close the open .por, most likely with a dialog box asking you whether or no you wish to save your changes, and load the new one.

It's not a common thing to happen on a Mac but you can run multiple instances of any .app via terminal commands
